The quietness in the night soothes the restlessness at times . It calls to the thoughts not usually heard in the day . Their significance finds a voice and a chance to be lived . One such night awake thinking that I was alone I heard a sound . It was deep and a bit rhythmic . Unaccustomed to this sound and , for that matter , of thinking of owls being near by I was questioning my own ears . Nope , It really was an Owl . My heart began beating a little faster with delight . It was also a comfort . Suddenly I had a middle of the night friend sharing the stillness and darkness . I began wondering which tree had been chosen for perching . I began imagining paintings of Owls that I might create . I began feeling quite comforted by this owl .
His calls in night carried on for a few weeks . I looked forward to them . And when they stopped …just as suddenly as they began I said a bittersweet goodbye and thanked life for the unexpected treasures that it brings . Every now and again I awake up in the night and listen for the owl that might have returned .

The weave is humankind … and the animal kingdom … and what we call nature . Or Mother Earth if you prefer . We are woven together like it or not . Magnificent in moments and Fearless about doing what is true in our hearts . The ugly fear that sows hatred must go . It bubbles up to the surface attracting it’s willing compliances and destruction is sown .
Weave courage into compassion and we will lead the charge !
Separated from humanity . It is a lie . The US is WE and the WE is US .
One love is All love . One broken Woman , Man or child leaves us all broken .
Broken bits will be carried throughout the generations in our DNA .
When the stones are thrown the hurt inflicted will become part of your families inheritance .

Today’s creation lives beyond what you hold in your hand . And in your heart .
Looking intently towards the sky threads a connection to the intangible spaces in the mind , the unexplored heart and the timeless spirit born before ….now.
It is the beautiful , wild road that sings to the adventurers heart and calls to the eyes to gaze onward and upward . The view of the inner life and outer actions happening simultaneously. Joined together as one and standing apart as needed . They come together with each inhale and expand with every exhale .
Can you feel the universe within your beating heart ? It is there just as the reflections of the stars are visible in the depths of your eyes .
The freedom to be is in our hands and the freedom to expand knowledge and understanding lives along the beautiful , wild road . 
I heard the birds singing this morning as it were spring . it was like a sweet , gentle smile opening across one’s face . Sun inspiring whimsey and a dash of hope in such a way that i was nearly fooled . Fooled into thinking that spring was near rather than the fall and approaching winter .
Expanding dreams in the warm rays of sunlight is easy and sweet . A joyous dance in ideas and amongst roads yet to be seen . Unfolding a layer and releasing all barriers in thought , word and deed .
I am happy to know what I don’t know so that I will learn as i go .
